Union Call Forms

FAQ

Questions a local, steward or rep is likely to ask.

Short answers about member intake, grievance workflows, bargaining surveys, email confirmations and what the product does not decide.

Who is Union Call Forms for?

Locals, stewards, union representatives, organizers and union offices that repeatedly collect the same information from members or worksites.

Do members need an app?

Not for the inbound phone workflow described on this site. A caller uses the phone number and answers the prompts by voice.

Can each local or bargaining unit use different questions?

Yes, the intended setup is workflow-specific. A grievance intake can ask different questions from a steward report, bargaining survey or training sign-up, and labels can match the local or unit.

Can we use our own union language?

Yes. Fields can use familiar labels such as local, bargaining unit, worksite, classification, steward, grievance type, collective agreement / CBA article, remedy and rep follow-up.

Does Union Call Forms decide whether something is a grievance?

No. It collects information for union review. Your authorized union representatives decide whether an issue is a grievance and what action to take.

Does it calculate grievance deadlines?

No. Grievance timelines can depend on the collective agreement, law and facts. Your union must check the applicable procedure and deadlines.

Can stewards use it for shop-floor reports?

Yes. A steward workflow can collect site, shift, member issue, management contact, article/clause if known, open action and recurring workplace problems.

Can we use it for bargaining surveys?

Yes. A survey workflow can collect bargaining priorities, contract feedback and workplace concerns using questions set by the union.

What happens after someone submits the website demo form?

The server-side contact function sends an admin notification to the configured Union Call Forms address and sends a confirmation email to the person who submitted the form when the email service is configured.

Are the links in confirmation emails clickable?

Yes. The email templates generate clickable website and phone links. The website URL is built from the deployment origin or the configured public site URL.

Is this a robocalling system?

The public product flow described here is centered on inbound calls used to complete a defined form or intake process, not mass outbound dialing.

Does it replace a union case-management system?

No. It is an intake and routing layer. Your union decides where completed information is stored and how cases are managed after intake.

Stop chasing voicemail, texts and paper notes.

Start with one union workflow—grievance intake, steward reports, bargaining surveys, training sign-ups or another process your local already runs.
